Gary Hackett – Founder & Director

A lifelong cyclist and entrepreneur, Gary Hackett has combined his passion for cycling with his experience in building and leading successful enterprises. Known for innovation, strategic growth and disciplined execution, he has built and scaled organisations with a clear focus on people.

Gary’s love for long-distance tandem cycling and commitment to inclusivity underpin his vision for Riding Together.

Alan Corven – Director

Alan Corven, a dedicated cycling advocate and leader, has a strong background in project management and community engagement.

Alan has been the President of the Central Coast Bicycle User Group (CCBUG) for over a decade and spearheaded the RidesAssist Program.

With professional experience in IT, business analysis, and strategic planning, Alan brings valuable expertise to the team.

Karen Hackett is a seasoned legal professional with expertise in business law, estate planning, and compliance.

As a Commercial Lawyer, she managed complex legal and regulatory matters across various industries.

Karen’s expertise in workplace safety and construction law is vital to Riding Together, ensuring strong governance, compliance, and operational efficiency as the organisation expands.

Community Outreach Manager

Will brings first hand experience of the transformative power of cycling to our team. Diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa, he’s never let vision loss dim his passion for the sport.

For Will, cycling is more than just movement—it’s freedom, equality, and connection. Will channels his lived experience into creating inclusive opportunities, ensuring that people of all abilities can share the joy of riding.
